Cognitive Behavioral Therapy

CBT, is one of the most widely used and promising treatments for anxiety, stress, depression and other mental health issues.  The premise of CBT is that our thoughts (cognitive) influence how we feel, which influence what we do, or do not do-our behaviors. With CBT we can effective treat many negative issues we are dealing with in our lives.

  • Assist you in developing a more complete understanding of your psychological issues.
  • Establish more effective coping mechanisms.

Counselling

Through general counselling several areas can be addressed. Such as:

Consulting

For the last seveal yerars I have worked closely with a Primary care team to assit in managing my clients mental health. This consists of medication management, tapering of doses, consults to Psychology or Psychiatry. With my years of experience as a RN, I can work closely with other members of your health care team to ensure a holistic approach to your care.  Being your advocate is one of my biggest roles.
